DJ Home Movies First run-in with Occams Laser. Always great to chalk up another exemplar dark synth / retrowave musician. With its medieval synthetica and splendor, any neon warrior will feel at home with this EP. For favorites, "War" is for me, both in name and sound. Never cease the energies, never cooldown the heat, never relent the ever-lasting assault. So come. Take your hellfire stead, your great synthsword, and stoke the flames of the 80's again, just as the ignis of olden. Favorite track: War.

FLESH MECHANIC Occams Laser is becoming the producer of the darkest darksynth out there. During his recent visits to Hell he mastered the sinister apocalyptic atmosphere and here he mixes it up with almost orchestral synth layers that only crank up the whole evil sound. This truly deserves the inverted cross. Favorite track: Conquest.
G-Prime

G-Prime And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and totally badass dark synth tracks followed him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with synthesizer, and with sick beats, and with album art that looks like the last thing a Virtual Boy sees before it dies.

Seriously though, great fucking release. Favorite track: War.

about

The horns of the Rapture engulf the world in sound, beckoning the harbingers.
Upon the horizon they stand… Death, War, Famine, & Conquest. The Four Horsemen.
Together they are to set to cause a divine apocalypse upon the world.
The Last Judgment…

Continuing down the darksynth path; this 4 track EP is yet another combo of religious iconography, apocalyptic themes and sinister sounding synths!

Death – A hard hitting demonic blend of synthesizers and orchestral instruments.
War – Fast paced, destructive and dangerous. This track oozes energy from every pore.
Famine – Dirty, filth ridden syths pave the way as the song builds tension, growing like a parasite.
Conquest – Contemplative yet powerful. Thematically symbolizing held-back aggression and control.
