After conquering the infernal side of darksynth, Occams Laser backtracks a bit back into the 80's with a more upbeat, yet still ass-kicking sound. New Blood is by far one of the catchiest genre releases this year, and as much as I love the dark side of Occams Laser, I think this album is him in a perfect place of both sound and songwriting. It's all I could ever want from him, and a proof that he's very fluid with his musicianship.
Favorite track: Hemostasis (feat. Kid Neon).

I don't know what it is, but in DWTD's discography this record really stands out to me. Picking a favourite track is difficult because all of the songs sound incredible to me, but POISON is probably the most fresh and energetic song in my opinion.
