Occult 87

Cyber Djinn One of the best Occult albums, with its sordid doomsday atmospheres that sounds like a prophecy. The voice-overs enhance the atmosphere. Favorite track: Vision of Fire.
Lute FP

Lute FP Having come of age in the late 80s, I find this sound inexplicably compulsive. Definitely some serious nostalgia at work here. I don’t usually gravitate to synth-driven music, but somehow I can’t stop listening to this. The few songs with vocals make this a more rounded effort than it might otherwise have been. There is a definitive aesthetic that really works here, only enhanced by the album title and artwork.
Choco Latte

Choco Latte After 'Occult 86' how could Occams Laser top his own work you ask? Enter this even darker and grittier synth fest. Mathematically speaking, two benchmark albums in a row is almost impossible. Very well done. Favorite track: Cleansed of Truth.

"Extremely stylish release. Sharp and recognizable, but without fanaticism and excess in detail. " - ViolaNoir

The nights grow darker.
Modern man has become a mere shadow of its former
resplendence. Choosing to relinquish the core part of
the great plan, distracted and bemused; the masses
have chosen science as their new deity.

Our order seeks to restore man to a position of
centrality and dignity in the universe by reconciling the
findings betwixt modern science and religion.

We ascertain to re-enlighten these non-believers who
challenge our doctrine through sound, administered
via the accompanying audio.

The year is 1987, welcome to Occult 87…

Occult 87 is an 11 track album based upon the secretive world of the occult. The overarching story with the album is that of an occult-cult who seek to control the general population using music.
This story is a direct continuation from that of ‘Occult 86’ and will be continued into the future.
